- The league will begin play on Wednesday, May 20th. Session I will consist of 8 weeks and conclude on July 8th (unless extended due to rainouts).
- The league has four tee times at 5:50PM, 6PM, 6:10PM and 6:20PM.
- This is a walking league. Carts are available to those with a medical exemption and must be arranged through the pro shop. There are a limited number of push carts available to rent at the course.
- This will be a very casual golf league. Each week there will be a net skins game and a pot game. Teams for the pot game will be randomly selected. There will be no season long individual or team competitions.
- The cost of the league is $26 per week. This includes a greens fee of $16, $2.50 for the net skins game and $7.50 for the pot game.
- The net skins pot game will pay out $40 per week. If no net skins are awarded in any given week, the pot will roll over. In the event there are no net skins awarded in Week 8 the money will be added to that week's pot game.
- Scores will be tracked by software. Weekly event reports and season stats reports will be posted to this website.
- We are introducing a new format this year. Quota is a golf format in which golfers earn points for their scores on each hole. The aim of the game is accumulating enough points to beat your pre-set goal. Points are awared as follows: Bogey - 1 point, Par - 2 points, Birdie - 4 points, Eagle - 8 points. Note that these points are for gross pars, gross birdies and so on. (This is because your handicap is used in determining your quota goal.) This gives us another fun and intersting format to utilize in the pot games from time to time. Look for more information about this format in the coming weeks.
- The City of Columbus has published updated golf course guidelines as part of their Covid-19 response. Please review the guidelines here.
Golf is a welcome diversion for us all during these challenging times. Here's to a great season of competition, comraderie and sportsmanship. And beer! As a wise Crony likes to say: "Winning isn't everything. Just have fun and learn about the game!"
