XGA Week 1: Format, Pairings and Tee Times

The first event of the season is Wednesday, May 20th. Many of us have not had a chance to get out and play yet this year. Accordingly, we're going with a friendly 2-man scramble for the inaugural event. Here are the pairings and tee times. The number in parentheses is the team handicap. For purposes of this calculation, the lower handicap player on a team is the A player and the higher handicapped player is the B player. The team handicap is the total of 35% of the A player's cap and 15% of the B player's cap:

• 5:50PM - D. May/R. Bogan(3) and J. DiFrangia/M. Palleschi (4)

• 6:00PM -  R. Webb/P. Whybrew (4) and E. Osborn/J. Solis (3)

• 6:10PM - B. Underwood/S. Gillie (4) and A. Lorms/J. Stein (3)

• 6:20PM - G. May/P. Livingston (2) and E. Spencer/S. Lee (2)

There will be no net skins in Week 1 so that $40 will go into the pot game, taking it to $160. First place in the 2-man scramble will pay $100 to the team, 2nd place will pay $40 and 3rd place will pay $20.  

Total fees for Session I will be $208 ($26 x 8), which includes greens fees, net skins and pot game for the session. Please pay Doug $208 in cash, by check or Venmo. If you are subbing this week, you pay $26.

The range should be open. Please note the putting green is only to be used when you are the next group to tee off. There are limited amount of pushcarts available, which you can take care of in the pro shop. Please observe the restrictions on how many people are allowed in the pro shop at one time. Food and beverages will be available but can only be consumed outside.
